- 500g skinless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Cooked rice for serving
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Marinate chicken for 20 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and caramelized, about 8 minutes per side.
- Pour broth into the skillet, add the marinade, and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Serve the chicken over rice, spooning broth over the top, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
