- 1 large baguette or Italian bread loaf
- 4 cups cooked spaghetti
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into thick rounds and hollow out to form bowls.
- Mix cooked spaghetti with marinara, mozzarella, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the bread bowls.
- Brush the outside of the bread with olive oil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bread is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Ensure the bread is sturdy enough to hold the filling.
- Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
