- 3 lb beef roast (sirloin or top round)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh herbs for garnish (rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the beef roast.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the beef to a roasting pan and bake for 45-60 minutes, basting with the honey glaze halfway through.
- Remove from oven, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and garnish with fresh herbs.

- Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness (135°F for medium rare).
