Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Add diced onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook until onions are soft. Stir in chopped cranberries and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Unroll crescent dough and arrange slices in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping edges to form a ring with a hollow center.
- Spread the turkey mixture evenly over the dough, leaving some space at the edges.
- Fold the outer edges of the dough over the filling slightly, then tuck points of dough to seal edges.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute ground chicken or beef for turkey.
- Use fresh cranberries for more tartness or dried cranberries for sweetness.
- Serve with a side salad for a light appetizer.
