A quick and easy low-carb version of the classic Philly cheesesteak served in a bowl with sautéed vegetables and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sauté sliced onions and peppers until tender, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and cook sliced beef until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Return vegetables to skillet, stir to combine, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Top with shredded cheese, cover, and cook until cheese melts, about 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
