  • 1 lb (450g) boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
  3. Stir in spices: garam masala, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; cook for 30 seconds to release flavors.
  4. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  5. Pour in tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
