- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 2 cups cooked pulled beef
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
- In a mixing bowl, combine pulled beef, cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon about a tablespoon of the beef mixture onto each pastry square.
- Fold the pastry over to form a triangle or rectangle shape, and press edges to seal. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place the pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with optional dipping sauces.
Notes
- Feel free to add sautéed onions or peppers to the filling for extra flavor.
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
