- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, and mix well.
- Fold in green beans until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and top with 1/2 cup of fried onions.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with remaining fried onions, then bake for an additional 5 minutes until crispy.
Notes
- Can be prepared a day ahead and baked before serving.
- Use fresh green beans for best texture.
