- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced

- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg, beaten
- Turbinado sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
- Cut pie crusts into circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
- Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each crust circle.
- Fold crust over the filling to create a half-moon shape, pinch edges to seal.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

- You can customize the filling with raisins or walnuts.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
