- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced

- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef or vegetable broth
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces

- Fresh basil leaves, chopped

Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until fragrant and onion is translucent.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and broth; bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles; reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in ricotta cheese for creaminess; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded mozzarella and chopped basil.

- For additional flavor, add red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning.
- Use lean ground turkey or chicken as a healthier alternative.
