  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and half of the flour; mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add remaining flour, kneading until dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal portions.
  6. Shape each portion into a ball, place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter mixed with minced garlic and sprinkle with parsley.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
