- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed

- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp coarse sugar for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay puff pastry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the center of the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
- Arrange strawberry slices over the cream cheese.
- Fold the edges of the pastry slightly inward, and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and flaky. Let cool slightly before serving.
