Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup stir-fry vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
  4. Mix soy sauce and honey, pour into the skillet, and stir well.
  5. Add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. In a separate pan, stir-fry vegetables until crisp-tender.
  7. Assemble bowls with rice, cooked turkey, and vegetables. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
