Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Frosting: cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, vanilla

Instructions

  1. Activate yeast in warm milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix pumpkin, sugar, melted butter, and spices.
  3. Combine with flour and salt, knead into a dough.
  4. Let rise until doubled, then roll out.
  5. Spread cinnamon sugar mixture and roll into a log.
  6. Cut into slices, place in a baking dish, and let rise again.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Prepare frosting and spread over warm rolls before serving.
