- 1 package (8 count) flaky croissants
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut croissants into bite-sized pieces and place evenly in the dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the croissants, pressing down gently to soak.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Remove from fridge, bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
