- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 vanilla bean, scraped
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup brown butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla beans and mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Fold in sour cream.
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust. Bake 50-60 minutes until set.
- Meanwhile, melt butter until golden brown, then let it cool slightly. Drizzle over the cooled cheesecake before serving.
Notes
- Chill at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
- Top with whipped cream or additional vanilla beans for enhanced presentation.
