- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, beat until combined. Mix in sour cream.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine cinnamon with a portion of crumb topping ingredients (see notes).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
- Sprinkle generously with crumble topping.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool before serving.
Notes
- For the crumb topping: mix 1/4 cup flour, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons cold butter, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon until crumbly.
