- 1 prepared pie crust
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
- Heat milk until just steaming, then slowly whisk into the egg mixture.
- Pour the custard filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and lightly golden on top. Cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, substitute half of the milk with heavy cream.
- Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a dusting of nutmeg for garnish.
