- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and diced onion; cook until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Add broken noodles and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese until melted. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

- You can add spinach or other vegetables for more nutrition.
- Replace beef with turkey or plant-based protein for variations.
