- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt) in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets. Press a few marshmallows on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven, top with remaining marshmallows and drizzle with melted chocolate if desired.
Notes
- For extra chewyness, refrigerate dough for 30 minutes before baking.
- Use mini marshmallows for even topping and flavor.
