  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  5. Form dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Use your thumb or a small spoon to make an indentation in the center of each cookie.
  7. Fill each indentation with a small spoonful of chocolate chips or chunks mixed with cream to make a smooth filling.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are set but still fudgy inside.
  9. Allow cookies to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
